The Kasper House

The home was built in the early 1900's and has had numerous owners in the past 90 plus years. To date the new owners of the Kasper house check in with me on occasion. There are no new "ghostly tales" to share at this time... Perhaps this was the ultimate example of a "created haunted"... maybe not. We will never know.

Residents report sightings of a small girl (5 yrs. old), a man, and a shadow (possibly the man). Residents claim that the girl is interactive with the residents watching them and moving objects, playing with the children. The man is only noticed staring at the homes occupants. The shadow does move about the house and the occupants claim to have an extreme feeling of fear when the shadow is in their presence.

The Kasper House we felt was a unique location. This was the first of our long-term research locations. We were able to visit this place a variety of times under a variety of conditions. What makes this location stand out among others, is that we were actually able to collect and identify the EVP of FOUR DISTINCT ENTITIES! This has not happened again for us. We collected these voices over multiple trips, the voices were the same in pattern and vocalization. The EVP has been classified according to "Subject Entity 1-4".

SHADOW OF A PERSON? - Above is a photo captured by Tonya on the 2/3/02 Investigation. Notice on the armoire, to the left, there seems to be a shadow of a person standing. Notice the shadow goes all the way to the floor. What makes this picture stand out, is that the "head" of the shadow is interfering with the flash reflection in the mirror, it should go down & brighten things up all the way to the floor. The top two photos show this anomaly. We are not much for surface based anomalies but in this case we feel this to be unexplainable. An example photo is also posted to verify this claim. PLEASE ANALYZE THIS PHOTO!

1/12/02 You will see Toby examining the area of the armoire with an EMF meter. These pictures were taken approximately 10 seconds apart after the armoire door closed. Notice the bright orb in the upper part of the armoire in picture one.

The Hallway Shadow

These three photos are interesting. While the team was sitting on the floor in the hallway, Tonya snapped these three photos in sequence. A FUJI FinePix Digital Camera A101 was used. The source of the added "darkness" in Photo #3 is unknown. The camera was fully charged at this time, all lights were out, and no one was standing up.

Mist below - Captured on 1/26/02 Investigation by Tonya. This photo was many of the random shots taken at this location. The mist is close to the ceiling, and on closer analysis it does spread beyond the "u" shaped curve.

Below - Can Pets sense spirits? This photo was taken on the 1/12/02 Investigation, the dog was allowed in for a short time, because its been known to play with things that are not there. Upon further review we feel that this could be a false positive due to the highly reflective surface in the background. What do you think?

We typically hate orbs, but these are interesting.

Video COLLECTED DURING THE INVESTIGATIONS:

GHOULI has learned a lot over these past years... at this time during the Kasper house investigation, we were not so sure about "dust" and how it shows up on camera... So, take a look at these video's and see how much we have evolved. No longer would GHOULI accept footage like these as solid evidence. Not all of these videos are dust... keep in mind.

We are not stating the Kasper house was not "haunted"... we collected way too many EVPs and personally witnessed too many strange things during our 8 month investigation. So, its totally open for opinion. Enjoy!

CLICK HERE FOR VIDEO - This video has many things occurring in it! The meter had fallen over several times throughout the evening. This caught the team members attention, and after several attempts to knock over, at one point all members were jumping up and down within inches of the meter to no avail, they set the camera up on it. Right before the meter falls over, notice the video go out of focus, during this period you will hear an EVP, and immediately after the meter is knocked over.
CLICK HERE FOR VIDEO - An armoire in the master bedroom is reported to be where one of the children will supposedly hide on occasion. Notice the door closing each time the investigator opens it. On the third attempt of opening the door it did not close. EMF readings were at level 3, although an outside source has not been ruled out as of yet, and a photo of an unusually bright orb was captured inside the armoire closet.

CLICK HERE FOR VIDEO - Two orbs caught on video. On this occasion the camera had been placed on the floor looking into the music room. One of the homes occupants had set the organ to play approximately 14 minutes worth of music, for some unknown reason it would repeat after only a few songs.
Clip 1: You will see the investigator walk past the door, at 10:11:19 you will see an orb pass behind the investigator and exit the room. Clip 2: You will see an orb pass slightly above the camera and turn the corner exiting the room at 10:11:40.

David - You will hear Tonya say; "Do you want to talk to David?", then you will hear the EVP, it is a complete sentence.

Jennifer - Subject #2 introduces herself to us. The tape recorder was under a "surge" at the time, the slower version is posted below.

Jennifer Slowed - Same as above slowed down.

Entity Subject #3

Man - Subject #3 is an adult male, it is unknown what he is saying here.

I see you - Here you will hear Tonya say "Glad you could make it up here" then you will here Subject #3' response.

Legs Asleep - Here you can hear Tonya comment on her leg being asleep, then you will hear subject #3 yell out.

So Bright - You will hear Subject #3 comment about the camera flash from one of the investigators.

Entity Subject #4

Come Here - Subject #4 (adult Female) responds to the Tonya.

Hello - Subject #4 greets us, Tonya was incorrect on "who" enters the room.

Photograph - Here you can here Tonya ask, "Who else is in the room?", you will hear Subject #4 respond.

I heard hello - This EVP was a great capture, Tonya thought she heard someone say something in the basement. You will hear the "Hello", then you will hear Tonya say, "I thought I heard something, I'm hearing things".

Ok Jenny - This EVP was captured on our last visit to the house.
Both EMF meters were randomly fluctuating with abnormal readings, sometimes spiking to 7 milligauss. We asked the spirit to touch the meter again, and you can hear the adult female giving permission to the younger spirit to touch the meter.

Squeaky Spot - She comments on the floor panels. (Earlier that evening, investigators spoke about the sounds the floor makes when stepping on a certain area).

Hum - Subject #4 mumbles or hums. Unknown
